Haas to Head Baker Pumps:

As many of you no doubt already know we have established a new company Baker Pumps. Why the establishment of a new company? To focus on our pump product line in order to successfully grow the business. It has been my experience that focus in critical to business success. In fact over the last couple of years, I think a large portion of our Baker Tanks success if rooted in our ability as a company to focus. With that said, you have heard me explain my NASCAR analogy. To take it a step further, we now have two cars on our racing team, Baker Tanks and Baker Pumps. I am truly excited about the potential at Baker Pumps. I know that our new entrant to the race is capable, eager, and highly motivated to succeed.

In the illustration below, you can imagine that there is a world of pump opportunities represented by the green circle and a world of tank opportunities represented by the red circle. We will most certainly all cooperate to land the jobs, contracts and bids that are represented by the intersection of these two circles. What we have done by establishing Baker Pumps is get a focus on the entire green circle world of the pump rental market.

This is an exciting time for all of us. The establishment of Baker Pumps represents a tremendous opportunity for the entire Baker family. Assisting, cultivating, participating in the growth of a new company is exciting. The company president, Dave Haas has a wealth of experience with the entire Baker product line. He has a very capable staff of pump employees that have knowledge, experience, and initiative. With the support of all of us, we have a winning combination that will be hard to beat.
