Baker Pumps is proud to announce the acquisition of Ruxton Pump and Power of Hayward, CA as of January 31, 2003. Ruxton has been in business for 14 years serving the bay area as a pump rental, sales and repair facility. Ruxton specializes in electric submersible pumps and generators used primarily for job site dewatering, creek diversions, environmental projects and general construction projects.

The combination of Ruxton Pump and Power and Baker Pumps offers numerous synergistic advantages. Ruxton’s strengths are in electric driven pumps and generators, whereas, Baker’s strengths are in diesel driven pumps. Ruxton’s market base is construction and site work, while Baker’s primary market strength is industrial focused. By combining the strengths of each company, the Ruxton/Baker Team will be the leading pump rental, sales and service company in the bay area. We will be merging the Baker and Ruxton facilities into one centrally located facility that is properly equipped to efficiently and cost effectively service our customer base.
